Cheese Ball Recipe

  • 250 grams / 9 oz of cream cheese
  • 2 gherkins
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley
  • 1 dessertspoon of tomato sauce (ketchup)
  • 1 dessertspoon of sherry
  • 1 teaspoons of onion stock powder (optional)
  • ½ cup of grated cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup of finely chopped walnuts

Soften the cream cheese in a medium sized bowl. Chop the gherkins and parsley and add them to the cream cheese. Measure the tomato sauce, sherry, and stock powder and pour into the cream cheese mix. Grate in the cheddar cheese, and mix thoroughly. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for one hour. Meanwhile chop the walnuts finely. Roll the cheese mixture into a ball and coat the surface with the chopped walnuts.

Serve with raw vegetables, crisps and crackers.
